DIRECTIONS TO THE RANGE

Our parking and assembly area is located on the north side of the Loretta French Park, north of Anchorage.

Take the New Glenn Highway to the North Birchwood exit,

turn off, and turn toward the mountains.

You will pass the Chugiak Elementary School on your left

and the Senior Citizen Center on your right.

When you reach the "T" at the Old Glenn Highway, turn right (toward Anchorage and Eagle River).

NOTE! We are NO LONGER using the horse park gate that was previously pictured on this page!

Instead, look for the store named Alice Mae's on your left. As you pass it, note your odometer reading.

The new gate into the range is 0.6 miles south (toward Anchorage) of Alice Mae's. Turn on Kerbow Lane, directly across from Amonson Rd. The gate is on the right. We normally have a sign with a bullseye and the word "ARCHERY" on display at the turnoff on shoot days.

Turn right and follow the gravel road until you crest the second hill. Just past the crest of the second hill, the road will fork. Take the right fork and follow the road to the parking area. The right (correct) fork is the one with the tire tracks leading to it in the photo below.
