Our parking and assembly area is located on the North
side of the Loretta French Park, north of Anchorage. Driving
from Anchorage, take the New Glenn Highway to
the North Birchwood exit, turn
off, and turn right towards
the mountains. You
will pass the Chugiak Elementary School on your left and the Senior Citizen
Center on your right. When you reach the "T" at the Old Glenn Highway, turn right (towards
Anchorage and Eagle River). Look for the gas station on the left
named VITUS As you pass it, note your odometer
reading The new gate into the range is 0.6 miles south from VITUS gas station. On shoot days, we place our sign at
the turnoff road, Kerbow Lane!

Turn right
onto Kerbow
Lane
and follow the road until you crest
the second hill. Just past the crest of the second
hill, the road will fork. Take the Right Fork in the road, and follow the road up through the RED GATE to the parking
area. See ya there! |
